Optus Stadium is Perths premier sporting and entertainment facility, with a capacity of 60,000 people. With that many people all crammed into a stadium, it's easy to get overwhelmed.

The noice that the crowds make, plus whatever live event is going on is enough to cause a headache and can definitely get overwhelming for people with autism. Even if your not in a seat, the stadium is very echoey, and personally I think its quieter in your seat then lining up for food thanks to all that echo.

The stadium is very crammed and its not rare to bump into people, so that can make people with autism very uncomfortable.

The stadium doesn't have four big flood lights, instead it has lights around the perimeter of the roof, that flash all different colours. It is a very overwhelming experience.

If you are headed to the stadium, wether you have autism or not, I recommend some good quality noise cancelling headphones.

Optus stadium is not the most autism friendly location

P.S. Go eagles
